Longwood at NCI Graduates are Ready to Fill High-Demand Jobs

After two years of hands-on classroom learning (delivered at NCI) and one student teaching semester finished, six Longwood University students graduated in December and are now fully licensed and ready to teach.

Longwood’s Elementary and Middle School Education bachelor’s programs at NCI are filling a great need in our community by producing qualified, high-achieving teachers to lead the next generation of students in our community.

“It was such an honor to work with the graduates from our December cohort. Elementary education is still the second-largest shortage area statewide. We are happy to be sending this fine group to the workforce to help fill the gaps,” shared Dr. Pam Randall, Longwood Program Director.
