This class is not to be confused with, nor may it be substituted for NASBLA-approved certifying courses which may be taken online for free at boatus.org.
However, this class is taught by Coast Guard-certified instructors from certified Marine training facility and provides in depth instruction and supplementary material, including hands-on guidance, detailed knowledge and practical examples, obviously not offered in an online class.
