Radford University’s cybersecurity program, IMPACT, is designated as a Center of Academic Excellence in cyber defense by both the National Security Agency and the Department of Homeland Security.
Radford University partners with New College Institute (NCI) to provide cybersecurity programs with exclusive opportunities onsite at NCI to prepare working professionals for multiple cyber defense certifications. Carrie Denny is making a big impact at the City of Martinsville this summer through her internship in the telecommunications department. This department operates MINet Solutions, a city-owned telephone and internet service provider for local businesses. As an intern, Carrie has helped institute a new invoicing system that is saving time and money for the department.
